What is Foundry?

Foundry is a Paper server plugin that loads and manages Foundry addons. Addons can register abilities through the Foundry API, while the core plugin handles ability registration, player input bindings, and item metadata.

  • Load addon JARs from the Foundry plugin data folder.
  • Register abilities and activate them through the API.
  • Bind abilities to player click actions, including sneak and offhand variants.
  • Store an ability ID in an item's persistent data.
